Description
I want to call her a sorceress but I'm not exactly sure what she is. Yeah, sorry.. it's been a while since I was all on top of that. Anyways... I did the dark lines behind her in a gel tip pen. I tried to use an illustrator pen but I didn't like the way it was on the paper so I attempted various of others (I should have done it on a scratch paper but I did it on the drawing, don't think it's that noticeable), such as a ballpoint pen and in a gel tip pen. After consulting with a very talented artist (a.k.a. my crush, of course he'll be praised hehe) and a handful of my friends, I decided to leave her in pencil since it "makes her pop out". Now that I think about it, I might go over the pencil lines once again to clean it up.
That small figure to the left of her was just a.. note, I guess, to give me something to work with if I ever come back to her/decided to create characters.

I like this one quite a bit. It's not uncommon to not know what exactly it is that you draw... I often just interpret stuff afterwards, when I even want to give it a meaning. xD
Anywayz, good work. I see what you did with her "popping up", in contrast to the black flames. But I'm not sure it works out, for my eyes at least =/ ... It doesn't look right, with the relative lack of contrast on her person giving her a "Bleached" appearance, rather than popping out. Maybe going over the pencil lines will fix that, it just needs a tiny bit of darkening as far as I am concerned.
Other than that, I like her facial features. You've done a great job on that!
